If you want to prove that not all the good stories belong to a) dog breeders, b) obedience people c) heelers to music or d) flyballers send your wry observations to Agilitynet.

How Far Would You Go?
from Penny Cockerill

A friend of mine from Surrey who came to the Watford Show very much enjoyed it and sent praise to the organisers - but found the ring layout confusing. She has two dogs and wears a pedometer which showed that, on the Sunday, she walked just over ten miles! (12/07/04)

From Janet Humphreys...
What about the judges, confined to an area 35yard by 35yards, doing 13 miles judging agility for 400 dogs? The loos and the judges lunch area were a stones throw from the ring, so it's a fairly accurate measurement. Or the show secretary who from 6 am till 9pm managed to clock up 19.5 miles... there ought to be sometime wrong with the job description.. how can you get a blister on your foot doing a paperwork job?  (19/07/04)
