AGILITY NEWS

UKA News
The team representing GB at the IFCS World Cup is back from Belgium with lots of medals. Well done all.

Training News
Toni Dawkins will be teaching at the Plum Pudding Equestrian Centre this summer. New indoor agility venue with seamless rubber flooring and outdoor paddock will be available for hire from September. WAGAM (Cirencester. Glos) has training places available on Wednesdays.

Here is great way to organise your agility show life! The Show Schedule Book is a beautifully designed A4, spiral bound book with clever pockets where you can keep all your show schedules, paperwork, photos and show information all neat and tidy in one place.

The 2008 book has a sturdier cover with space inside for telephone numbers and notes as well as a place for listing all your show results along with the name of the judge. Very useful.

The book is comprised of 12 pockets - one per month - each of which holds up to 10 schedules. On the pouch, there is a useful month-at-a-glance calendar.

This year we have added two new pages where you can paste up to eight pictures of your dog(s) along with their name, age, date of birth and registration number.

This book has been designed to be used by Obedience, Flyball, HTM and Breed people as well as agility handlers and so it makes an ideal present for yourself or anyone who competes in dog sports.
   Suppliers News
Mister Fleece is offering a limited number of copies of the 2008 Show Schedule Book free. All you pay is postage. Artist Karl Pitwon is going to be at Tunbridge to deliver some dog portraits and take photos for future commissions. It's a sale on Addidas stock - Howzat for a bargain.

Show Snippets
Camping at Scunthorpe is now full. The qualifying procedure for 2009 E.O. Ranking Events (England) explained. The Kennel Club agrees to support a team going to the 2008 FCI World Championships in Finland, but there's a catch... News of Euro GB teams. Everyone selected to represent us will be put into a team. Support the UKA Team GB going to the IFCS World Champs in Belgium by buying a ticket for the fund raising quiz draw. The deadline is soon. Reserve your room at the 2008 World Champs in Finland this August.

Measuring News
Some dates in the North West. Plus a quick, at a glance guide to what you need when going to measure your dog.

Charity News
After having done 'cold' (Sledding in the Arctic) in 2006 and 'hot' (Desert Trek in Namibia) in 2007, this year Peter van Dongen is going up for charity.

Size Matters
The Kennel Club has appointed more official measurers to meet the demand.

BSD World Agility Championships
The Team representing the GB in Ljubljana (Slovenia) from 8 - 11 May 2008 have been chosen despite inclement weather.
