Australian Workers Agility League Rules

  1. Open to Australian Kelpies, Shepherds and Cattle Dogs.
  2. Any Primary crosses of the above breeds may enter the league in order to compete for a separate annual award.
  3. The league shall run from 1 January  2004 until 31 December 2004. For this year only up until 30 June new entries to the league may backdate their points to 1 January 2004.
  4. Dogs may compete in one of the following categories: Starter, Novice, Senior, Australian Cross.
  5. The dog will remain in the same category for the year unless the handler requests a change upon winning out/into a higher level.
  6. Points will be awarded for places gained from 1st to 20th. Points will be awarded as 20 to first place, 19 to second placed down to 1 point for twentieth place. Unplaced Clear rounds will not count.
  7. Cost for entry to the league per household will be £3 per year. This will go towards postage costs, quarterly newsletter (depending on material) and the four annual trophies. At the year end, anyone wanting a copy of how the money has been distributed may request so.

If members could please keep an initial record of places/points a website recording results and other details will be set up soon. People who do not have access to a computer will be able to enter points via Hazel either by phone or post at a maximum of three monthly intervals in order to give a fair picture of how the league is progressing.
