Bob
Sharpe has agreed to sponsor a Field of Dreams trophy for the best handler/dog combination over
the East Anglian UKA winter competitions. The winner will be the one who amasses the highest
number of points, based on the UKA points scoring system over the four shows. Trophies
will be given to the top three handlers overall, whatever level or height they run at.
Bob said, 'I train a variety of handlers in the area and I thought it was an
opportunity to put something back into the sport, and develop a little healthy competition
within the groups. It should also give Jayne Widdess and Mike Fairlamb, the bold organisers,
additional competitors as the series proceeds.'
The Top 10 at the halfway stage of the EAWS Mini League are:-
