The closing date for points is fast approaching. Please send all your points to Denise Welsh as soon as possible so she can get the rosettes etc ready for the Just Minis show and the PAL Final. The cut off date is 1 November.

If you don't use it, you will lose it.

The Finals held once again at Golden Cross Equestrian Centre. The results are below. The grades are taken from 1st of January 2009

Denise said, 'I would just like to add that I thought the junior handlers are super. I have been watching most of them over the year and the standard is very high. Keep up the good work.'

Papillon Agility League Final Results for 2008

The Papillon Agility League keeps growing every year. The standard keeps improving and it's nice to see dogs moving up the Grades. There were 25 members in 2008. Points are combined from affiliated and Kennel Club shows, and rosettes are given out for both KC and non-KC.

Well done to everyone who participated in the League and congratulations to all the winners.

There was a really good turn out for the Final held at Golden Cross Equestrian Centre in December 2008. The Novice Trophy was won by David Russell with his very talented Caeyn who started the year at Grade one and is now Grade 5.

Debbie Goodwin won the Harlie Trophy with her equally talented Sonny. They are now Grade 2 but we doubt they will stay there for very long.

The Papillon only class for Grades 1-7 had 18 entries and was won by Denise Welsh with her new youngster Merlin, 2nd was Emily High with the lovely Anton, 3rd Dean Williams with Daisy, 4th Sarah Shaw with Skipper, 5th was Jane Burton with Sassy and 6th was Alison Grimes with Nat.

Please can everyone who wishes to re register send me their £4 (per dog) for registration for 2009 also keep those points coming in.

Points for Paps

Can everyone please send in their points for the Papillon Agility League as soon as possible so that the rosettes and trophies can be ordered and engraved. The cut off date is Monday, 10 November 2008.

2nd Pap Show

A good time was had by all on 19 July when the South of England Pap Club held its second Agility Show purely for Papillons which was run in conjunction with the Fun Day. A huge thank you to our Judge Amanda Francis who put up very nice courses.

Congratulations to all. It was great seeing all the paps flying around having fun. This event is steadily growing and is now a permanent fixture in the agility calendar.
