What I liked: When I pre-ordered this DVD in December before competing at Olympia, I hadn't realised the box would contain four disks so that was a nice surprise when I opened the packet. It was nice to be able to see the morning/afternoon events that weren't shown on Eurosport 2. I could watch friends and my trainer taking part in runs I'd only heard about and relive it all on the edge of my seat at home! I really enjoyed watch Olympia on DVD. Brilliant! My dog Ross wasn't too interested in watching himself on the TV, but my young lurcher, Acer, was a bit confused as I'm sure he thought 'Hmmm... that handler and dog look familiar? It's great reminder of our achievement of qualifying for Olympia, and will soon be shown to my parents. Poor Dad got in a muddle trying to record it, so this will let him off the hook with Mum! From a training point of view, it was interesting to see how some of the courses were worked differently, and a couple of things that made me think I'll try that at club with my own dogs, If it works for us, I'll give it a go in competition? What could be improved: The packaging could be better. The box cover is plain white, with no canine pictures at all Standard of the design, format and production: There is a menu on each disk which makes it easy to go straight to the event you wish to see. The filming was good and the camera kept up well considering it was a big spread out course, capturing the angles as it twisted and turned with a brave cameraman coming in for the close ups at the end of the course as dogs were diving on their leads and bouncing in excitement! The commentary by Mike Tucker and Nick Brooks Ward was clear plus, unlike the TV coverage, it showed all of the presentations with those smiling faces of handlers and dogs alike after running their hearts out on their big day. PAL format - 16:9 Widescreen Overall Rating: Has to be a 10/10 as the quality of the disks is so good. I’ll let them off for the plain packaging Price: £34.50 plus delivery & VAT. Available exclusively from Agility Warehouse Value for Money: As there are four disks containing three hours and 40 minutes of agility action, it’s probably considered a reasonable price and could also be bought by Clubs, if they wanted to start an Agility Library?
