Sponsoring a competition

On one of their many long trips 'Up North' Jenny and Blair Willis were reminiscing about the old Barbour Pairs Knockout competition and what fun it was. They remember how much both they and their dogs enjoyed doing it. It was possible that the dogs had more fun than the humans as they didn’t have the stress of making sure they were at the ring at the right time!  They decided that it would be great to revive a Pairs Knockout competition, albeit with slightly different rules and so the Laser Pairs Knockout came into existence.

The Final of the Laser Pairs Knockout was held at Dashin' Dogs Summer Show on Tuesday, 19 August, judged by Nikki and Den Keeler. They set a really fast course which made it a very exciting final.  Jackie Gardner and Deena Freeman were worthy winners and did not put a foot wrong in any of their runs.

2008 Qualifiers

The Laser Pairs Knockout has now been running for nearly two years and the Second Final will be held in a few weeks time at Dashin' Dogs Summer Show on Tuesday evening, 19 August 2008. 

Jenny Willis said, 'The last years competition has been a bit fraught with bad weather conditions, shows being cancelled and changes of date having to be made, but we have eventually made it to the final and we would like to congratulate all the finalists for making it to the final.'
