The UK Agility Masters Series
Supported by Field of Dreams Agility
The 2010 Masters
Series Final took place on Friday, 30 July at the UK Agility Nationals week show at Tewkesbury.
To qualify for the
final dog and handler partnerships had to finish in the top two of one of the five heats or win
an Agility or Jumping round. Potentially there could be 20 dogs in each height but the
rules have been set to encourage people to keep striving to win each Masters and, therefore,
reduce the number of dogs in the final. The prize money for the final was winner takes
all. £100 for each height was provided by Field of Dreams Agility Training Centre. UK
Agility is extremely grateful for their support of this event.
The Judge for the
final was Andy Hudson, the same as the judge for the first heat. His course design was exactly
what was required both testing the handling and dog training skills of the competitors. Anthony
Clarke and Ruby ran each course as the white dog. They achieved a nice clear in the Jumping
but certainly showed where the traps were in the agility round!
