Co-sponsors of the 2023 Winning Out Certificates

A huge favourite and great fun to watch...

The Skinners Grand Prix was run for the first time on 30 August 2014 at Chatsworth Country Fair. The competition is open to Large G3-7 dogs and is run in front of what is probably the biggest audience anywhere in the UK, save major finals at public venues.

The Grand Prix consists of two Jumping rounds, designed to test the dog's speed and accuracy. Combining the results of the first two rounds, the top five dogs go forward to another Jumping round in a money Final.

Getting two clear rounds of Jumping in a row with several thousand people watching - and willing you to succeed - is not an easy task. While there were lots of individual clear rounds, double clears proved elusive but possible.

Running in reverse order, the five finalists were led off by Edward The Third, followed by Stillmoor Vimto On Ice, Dynamite Didgeridoo, Edith Weasel Spellcaster and finally Fly Toff The Navigator. To everyone's delight, five more clear rounds were achieved with just three seconds between the places  – a total 15 clear rounds. You done good, ladies!

The winners of the Skinner's Grand Prix 2014 were:-

  1. Gemma Miles with Fly Toff The Navigator - 23.12 secs (Clear)

  2. Amelia Nicholson with Edith Weasel Spellcaster - 23.41 secs (Clear)

  3. Emma Gamble with Dynamite Didgeridoo - 24.00 secs (Clear)
