Pedigree Masterfoods ABC Agility

Heats for the 2004 Pedigree Masterfoods ABC Agility competition will be run throughout 2003 and up to May 2004. The final will be run by Newton Heath DTC at their Championship Show at Tatton Park, Cheshire in June 2004. Heats are open to any dogs except Border Collies and their crosses; the first four dogs in each heat will be invited to the Final. Full regulations and contact details are below the list of qualifiers below.

2004 Rules

1.  Pedigree Masterfoods ABC Agility is a special agility competition to be run under Kennel Club Rules and Regulations H for standard dogs.

2.  The competition is open to all dogs excluding Border Collies, Working Sheepdogs and their crosses.  (Any Breeds but Collies).   In the event of dispute, the judge’s decision will be final

3.  The first four dogs of each heat will qualify for the Final.   The next four placed dogs at a Heat will be deemed to be reserves should a qualified dog be unable to attend the Final.   Reserves from Heats will be invited to attend the final up to and including the closing date of the NHDTC Show.   After the closing date NO reserves will be called even if other qualifiers have to retire.

4.  Dogs that have already qualified for the Final may enter further heats ‘not for competition’.

5.   A handler may qualify more than one dog for the Final.

6.   Those dogs eligible to compete in the Final shall be the winners of each heat of the best placed dogs not previously qualified.

7.  The Final will be held at the annual Newton Heath DTC show held at Tatton Park, Cheshire, in June of each year.   Any alteration will be publicised.

8.  Owners, handlers and dogs who enter the Heats/Final will be deemed to have accepted the Rules and Regulations of the competition and the organising show.

9. The organisers, Newton Heath DTC and Pedigree Masterfoods in agreement, reserve the right to alter these rules and Regulations at their discretion.
