Helping at shows can be
fun...
 To
celebrate all the people who help make an agility show happen, the Scottish
Kennel Club Agility held a photo competition for all helpers and ring parties at
their August Show.
Here are some of the entries. Can you suggest some captions…
Lots of
people entered into the spirit of the competition and had fun posing for photos
and its was a great way for ring parties to bond.
There
were no rules pictures could be of anything. Although the theme was meant to be
helpers in action, it turned into helpers having fun at an agility show.
Each day
of the show, people submitted their pictures to the SKC FaceBook page and a
select team of 'experts' picked a winning ring party or group each day. The
prize was a bag of goodies to be shared out – including dogs toys, coffee
beakers, chocolates, dog treats etc.
SKC
Agility Coordinator Sara Hawkswell said, 'I think the photos certainly show
how much fun you can have while still getting jobs done and putting on a
great show. I think that the competition will have to become a regular
addition at SKC shows in the future – but the bar - or should we say
the pole
- has been set high. Thank you to those who submitted photos but, more
importantly, thank you to everyone who helps make our shows happen.
